The Access Team works under the direction of the student as class/lab assistants and mobility assistants to support students with disabilities related to vision and/or physical mechanics and dexterity requirements.

Exam Support Services Team
At the DRC Testing Center, our dedicated Exam Support Services team ensures that students receive the exam accommodations they need for a successful testing experience. Our Office Assistants assist students with check-ins and provide clear guidance on accessing exam accommodations. Our Exam Assistants serve as scribes, readers, and proctors, supporting students with verified disabilities throughout their exams at UC Santa Cruz.

Using web accessibility standards and university guidelines in managing the DRC’s web presences to be not only accessible for disability-related reasons, but also creating spaces that are universally navigable by all.
