Accessibility Leadership Internship Program (ALI)

Our Goals

We are a group of students who want to bring an end to the stigmatization of disability on the UCSC campus, as well as to build a community around the DRC. Everyone is invited to join regardless of whether or not you identify as having a disability. We offer fun activities and volunteer opportunities. We meet once a week to discuss disability related issues and develop and plan events that are geared towards destigmatizing disability.

Past events include Disability Awareness Week and we have on-going projects like the "This Is Disability" Media Campaign. We have also co-hosted other events such as a film screening of The Last Taboo, and Individual Differences and Disability Culture with keynote speaker Dr. Coble-Temple.
