Final Exams: March 17-20
For those of you who plan on receiving test accommodations for any or all of your final exams make sure you know the location and time arranged for each final. Contact your instructor or designee for details if you have not been informed at least a week before the test date. If you have any other concerns contact your DRC Coordinator before your scheduled final.

If you require adaptive equipment for an exam please contact the DRC as soon as possible to reserve the equipment. Call 459-2089 Monday through Friday 8-5. Good luck and enjoy your spring break!

Tutoring Needs for Spring Quarter

In order for Learning Support Services (LSS) to better meet your tutoring needs they are requesting your input as to what courses tutors will need to be provided for next quarter. If you anticipate using tutoring services for Spring quarter please reply to vsteward@ucsc.edu or drc@ucsc.edu with a list of your classes for which you'd like to have tutors. Please list the department and the course number so that we are able to compile the information more efficiently.

Thank you for your input!

Please Bring Printed Copy of  Spring Class Schedules
In order to for us to provide accurate information on your Accommodation Authorization Letters (the forms that you give to your instructors) the DRC is requesting that you bring in a printed copy of your class schedule when completing the Service Request Form.

Because of the high number of erroneous Service Request Forms (the pink form that is used to request accommodations) that were submitted Winter quarter, inaccurate information was passed on to faculty and departments causing confusion and misuse of valuable staff time. This problem can be alleviated if a class schedule is submitted with the Service Request Form.

Thank you in advance, we would appreciate your cooperation!

Accommodation Requests for Graduation
Planning to graduate this June? Do you need disability accommodations for the ceremony? Do you have friends or relatives who might need accommodations? If you or someone coming to watch your graduation has a disability, please contact your college's program coordinator or department staff to put in a request for any disability accommodation needs. Graduation will be here before you know it, so get your requests in early!

Phone Interview = Starbucks Gift Card
Have a visual impairment, hearing loss, speech or mobility difficulty? Want free coffee? Get involved!

The University of California, San Francisco is working on a telecommunications project with the California Public Utilities Commission.  They are recruiting students with mobility or vision impairments to take part in a phone interview.  *They would like to speak with Californians with various disabilities who use devices, technologies, or services (including, but not limited to cell phones, email, and other wireless devices) that help them to communicate with others.*  Any interested students would be screened first and if eligible, receive a $35 gift card to either Starbucks or Safeway/Vons Supermarkets for participating.

If interested, please contact Alice Wong at 415-502-7097 or at alice.wong2@ucsf.edu
