DRC Electronic Advising Update January 2007

Notice to DRC Students!

It is probable that our office will be closed on Monday May 8th due to the installation of tile sealant in the main corridor of the Hahn building. Please make arrangements to pick up paperwork and/or have your note-takers drop off notes on either Friday May 5th or Tuesday May 9th.

Don't miss the exciting guest speaker which your student organization officers, Nichol Baxter and Rob Davies have invited to present on Wednesday, May 10, 2006, 7:30-9:00 PM, Engineering 2 Building, Room 192. John R. Fleming, M.Ed., BCET, is founder and director of Developmental Learning Solutions, a comprehensive clinic for learning disabled/learning different, and gifted individuals.

John has provided program development at the international level, is a consultant and program developer for area private schools, and is an active member of the Association of Educational Therapists (AET). International Dyslexia Association (IDA).

He will discuss college level strategies for success, study tips, and information about recognizing learning disabilities. This will be a great workshop for students who have learning disabilities, students who think they might have a learning disability and staff/faculty who work with students.
